Fugue and Bacchanale is work inspired by the calmness of a spring sunrise interrupted by the hustle and bustle of a cityscape in Brooklyn, NY. The piece was inspired by the story of a hospice patient I had the honor of meeting, a man with pancreatic cancer who spent twelve years of his life in a housing project in Brooklyn.
